"Does anyone remember the MSLP instrument library by
Erick Kvist that came out about 5 years ago? It had
a ton of Creative Commons instruments of widely
Some of them were very nice, while others were more
audio toys. I've converted 18 to Kontakt 5 so far of
which I think 3 are very nice.
The flute is the best. It has over 900 samples and
weighs in at 180 megs compressed. There are vibrato
and non-vibrato modes with 3 velocity layers, round
robin staccatos and more.
There is also a nice Cello. It's 68 megs, 800+
samples and has 3 velocity layers in sustain and
staccato, plus gliss and pizz.
The Piano is only one velocity layer, but it is a
soft layer so it works nicely as an intimate piano.
It also has nice long samples."
